Technology contributes to sustainability
Software has an impact on the energy consumption of hardware. That is why, at Centric, we are developing sustainable software: efficient software that consumes less electricity. We focus on optimising the software development process, deployment and maintenance throughout the software life cycle. After all, more efficient calculations require less cooling.
Hardware can also help save energy. In our certified green data centres, servers operate in an optimal configuration. We use new generations of hardware that minimise energy consumption and, at the end of their service life, give it a new lease on life through repair or recycling at our repair centre.
